On Monday, January 28, 2019, I will deliver a speech on concurrency in Java at Guild42.ch in Berne. I will give an overview of the Java Concurrency API and demonstrate select concepts using simple and vivid examples. I will also show how the low-level use of threads has become obsolete today, and how programming can be much easier, safer, and more elegant with the help of thread pools, synchronizers, and thread-safe data structures.
More information on this event can be found at Guild42.ch’s website: guild42.ch/?p=965. Admission is free, but registration is required.
