In June 2023, my technical article “Dokumentation wie Code behandeln – Auszeichnungssprachen in der Softwaredokumentation” (“Treating Documentation Like Code – Markup Languages in Software Documentation”) was published in the German magazine IT Spektrum. It is now available for download here on this website.
The article explains what exactly simplified markup languages are, what advantages they offer, and how companies can find the most universally applicable one from the multitude of languages available today. They open up possibilities that outshine any company wiki.
