Christian Heitzmann

SimplexaCode was founded in Lucerne, Switzerland in spring 2018. Christian Heitzmann is owner and CEO of SimplexaCode AG. In the end of 2007, he received the Master of Science ETH in Computational Science and Engineering (MSc ETH CSE), an interdisciplinary course of studies consisting of mathematics, computer science, and natural and engineering sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich).

Christian Heitzmann has been certified in Java since 2004 and is currently Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer (OCP). Since 2021, he has also been a holder of a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Machine Learning. In May 2022, he passed the official Spring qualifying exam and has since then also been acting as Spring Certified Professional 2022. Since 2023, he holds the currently highest Python certificate (Certified Professional in Python Programming 1 (PCPP1)).

Christian Heitzmann has been developing software for over 20 years and has been teaching or lecturing for 12 years in the areas of Java and Python programming, mathematics, and algorithmics, among others. He holds two teaching diplomas for upper secondary schools in both computer science and mathematics. During his studies, he spent half a year in the U.S. and owns the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).

Several years of expertise both in Java development and in STEM teaching have given Christian Heitzmann a unique profile as a software developer with a sense of accuracy who can in addition explain, document, and counsel with expert ability.

Christian Heitzmann is a member of the Health Tech Cluster Switzerland, CH Open, the Java User Group Switzerland, and Guild42.ch.
